Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter Scout LaRue Willis walks topless through New York City streets to protest Instagram nudity policy?

Scout LaRue Willis, the daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, was banned from Instagram for posting a picture of a sweatshirt she designed featuring two topless women. In protest, she took her top off and went completely topless for a walk in New York City, where it’s legal for women to walk around topless. :-)

Scout LaRue Willis then posted the photos on her Twitter account. “Legal in NYC but not on @instagram”, she captioned one of her photos, in which she is seen baring her boobs while looking at a flower shop. “What @instagram won’t let you see #FreeTheNipple”, she wrote in another photo.

As a believer in the power of online nudity, I fully support Scout’s topless campaign against Instagram. Toplessness has been legal in New York City for more than twenty years and Scout Willis says the point of her topless protest was to highlight the ridiculousness of the fact that exposed tits are legal in one of the world’s largest cities, but not on Instagram. The Instagram policy is clearly unfair. I think that if a woman wants to take photos of herself half or fully nude and put it on social media, she should be allowed to. It’s the 21st century for goodness sake. #FreeTheNipple :-)
